This site is my attempt to carve out a corner of the internet.

Why Is This Here?

I miss the days of the "old internet", one where things seemed a lot more fun and exploratory. That is thematically reflected by the design language of the site. Perhaps I've grown tired of content pushing and the pervasiveness of advertisements, perhaps I'm worried about how increasingly centralized our digital lives have become, or perhaps I'm just getting older. Or maybe I'm not quite sure how to form my feelings into words yet. Either way, it felt like the right thing to do.

Why Chamomile?

I think it's yummy. Although honestly, my favorite tea is chrysanthemum. It's just a lot to type out and say aloud, you know?

Technical

Made with astro.build, and a whole lot of vanilla flavored JavaScript. Both cats helped in small, but notable amounts. Dependency supply chain aside, 100% human made.
